Cycling - clothing for babies?

i've just got a baby seat for my bike for ds (who's almost 10mo) would like to take him out on it straight away but the weather is rubbish - does anyone know the best waterproof clothing to put him in? i also can't find a slim wooly hat with ear covering that fits under his helmet - any advice/shops to try?

Don't know if this is much help (half an answer really) but have you tried a Buff (stretchy tube scarf thing) for under his helmet? I use one a lot for my little boy and it makes a great, slim hat that is really stretchy and can be pulled down to cover the ears. Sorry can't help with the waterproofs, but I've seen some nice all-in-one waterproof suits out there, think JoJoMamanBebe may stock them?

thank you - buff is excellent idea - have one i can try too

had a look for all in one waterproofs and found some cheap regatta ones friom Go Outdoors but any ideas for shoes/boots for a 10mo that doesn't walk (or crawl yet) - guess i need them to be waterproof too...

ooh, the shoes thing is hard, can't think of anything at the moment. I tended to use combinations of babylegs legwarmers, socks and those little soft soled slippers that babies have, but that's not waterproof! Sorry for the late reply btw - only get online every so often!

don't worry about late reply - i only just checked!
will have to keep an eye out for something waterproof... actually i suppose it only needs to by windproof - not that hardcore that I'd go cycling in rain!
