Who's been to Porto?

Hi everyone
Have booked a little Air B&B for me & my daughter from next weekend (exciting)
Has anyone been & do you have any recommendations on things to see/do/eat etc? X

Haven't been but I hear great things about it so will be watching this thread with interest as it is on my 'list'

Ours was a fleeting trip but we did the open bus tour, went to the beach and the port tasting

Yes it's lovely, quite compact, very picturesque and Portuguese

Yes we went last year with our then 20 month old DD (we also stayed in an Airbnb and loved it) Had a lovely boat trip up and down the river - plenty were going from down on the waterfront. Enjoyed exploring on foot as it's a lovely city (hilly though so wear good shoes!)

Didn't make it to the port wine cellars (because of DD being little we figured it'd be too stressful) but heard great things.

There's also a cable car that gives great views.

We had a lovely time - it's a fab little city, enjoy.
