Lodge/ cabin complex nearish to Berlin?

Had half planned centre parc Germany - the Bispinger Heide one but just discovered that it's nearly 9 hrs by train from Berlin 🙄
The men want to revisit the Berlin of their youth and the women want to halfheartedly spend a couple of days then then a long weekend in a log cabin type set up with a hot tub
So ... anyone? bueller?

Bookings.com etc just seem to take me to apartments and meh

We stayed in a lodge in the U.K. And LOVED it, just wondered if we could combine with a city visit - don't really want to drive as we can get cheap train travel

Bispinger Heide is not a 9 hour train ride away from Berlin!
The ICE high speed train takes you from Hannover to Berlin in under 2 hours.

I don't think I have ever come across UK style lodges or cabins in Germany. Ferienwohnung or Ferienhaus is what you should be looking for.

Hot tub is whirlpool in German.

Oooooh really? Good old google showed me 8 40 and a route with a list of changes etc

Will re visit now knowing about The ICE as I'd never heard of it
