We're holidaying in Scotland in August (Dumfries, Fort William and Inverness)
We're national trust members
Children are 5 & 8.
Love the outdoors, woods, walking, castles etc

Glencoe is spectacular, the Glenfinnan Monument is nearby, Urquhart Castle is worth a look and Culloden is a great place to visit. Take a spin out to Fort George as well:

You might get lucky and see some dolphins - Chanonry Point on the Black Isle is a good place for dolphin spotting.
