Barcelona- How was it for you?

Were due to go for 4 days in March and wondered what it was like. Will be taking DC. Ive read that its not that safe so now v worried.
Where do you recommend for things to do/eat etc

I will tell you what I heard in Barcelona only when you return from there!!.

It is a nice city overall, particularly liked the Sagrada Familia and the shops (great Zara near the Ramblas).

Day to day though be very careful of your valuables - pickpocketing and scams such as the ketchup/bird droppping ones are rife in that city.
