Tenerife - childcare/babysitter recommendations?

Hello,

We are off to Tenerife soon and looking for some babysitting services for a couple of evenings and possibly a half day - after a little research we have come across Carebear nannies and Tenerife childcare - anyone any experience with either or have any recommendations? Children are both under 4. We are staying in a large hotel on the west side.

Thanks in advance!

speak to the hotel that you are staying in and see what they have to say about it. some hotels wont let you use external sitters and at least you will know this before booking.

tbh I would never use an agency sitter and particularly not one abroad. you have no idea of their age, experience, background or vetting.

if there is a kids club at the hotel perhaps they could provide some child care for you. if not and child care is a big thing for you on holiday - which it seems to be if you are looking for half a day and a couple of nights, then pick a resort where this is offered as standard. Yes it costs more but its better for your peace of mind surely.
