Five Star All Inclusive - advice please

We're looking for a week's all inclusive in Summer 2017, preferably 5 star or a very good four star. We probably won't leave hotel so the hotel is more important than the area. Probably Europe. Looking for something good value with enough to occupy a 6 year old. Would welcome any recommendations. Thanks.

Xanadu island in bodrum, Turkey is lovely - we have been 4 times. Also Bahia principe in Tenerife is nice.

We did the Bahia principe in October. I honestly have no idea why it is so highly rated. We didn't think it was great at all. Dated, poor drinks, packed at the pool, rubbish entertainment and Luke warm poor food.

Mauritius is fabulous and same price as Europe for five star all inclusive

We'd stayed at the Ikos Oceania in Halkidiki this year. Our first experience of AI. We absolutely loved it.

We went to the Bahia principe out of season so didn't have an issue with it being packed. I also think it makes a difference which hotel you are in either the Tenerife or costa Adeje. I can second the Ikos oceania which we also thought was amazing. But by far the best one we have been to is the Xanadu island. Something for everyone and a lovely kids club.

Wouldn't particularly recommend the Bahia Principe in Tenerife

Would HB or FB suit instead of AI?
If so then Sani resort is a good option. Drinks prices are on a par with other 5* star hotels but dine around option is great.
