Recommend car hire Cape Town

Exactly that really. Can anyone recommend a reputable car hire company from the airport? Any good experiences or ones to avoid. Also, any idea what the law is on car seats etc. Will be travelling with 14m old and 4 year old.

Thanks!

We used Avis - booked direct from the UK. Very good value (around £100 / week) and no problems at all. We had a couple of days to get over the flight then collected the car from the downtown office. Avis offered an add-on insurance to cover windscreens and tyres - worth thinking about if you're planning to do much travelling around on unmade roads. It wasn't very expensive (£19 for 3 weeks rings a bell?) although you'd equally be covered if you took out a car hire excess policy.

Car seat rules here:

Thanks! I've booked with Avis. It's only £180 for 2 weeks or so.
