We are visiting the area next week and have Kew Gardens, The London Butterfly House and the National History Museum on the agenda.

suejonez · 15/02/2007 23:02

London Butterfly house is at Syon house in Isleworth (just in case you didn;t know)

We're doing Kew (well I would living within walking distance!), brocketts farm in Leatherhead or Hounslow city farm.

mysonsmummy · 15/02/2007 23:27

we go to bocketts farm as we live in chiswick and its easy to get to. it also costs the same to get into as hounslow urban farm. ds 5 loves the pig racing, pony rides. trampolines, tractor ride, adventure playgrounds i can go on and on. we even go and meet father christmas there as well.

Do you prefer it to Hounslow Myson - there is some debate about Brocketts vs Hounslow on the meet-up thread?

kslatts · 16/02/2007 11:17

I love Horton's farm in Chessington, there is so much for the kids to do, when we go we usually spend the whole day there.

I'm taking my dd's to see Charlotte's web on Sunday.

mysonsmummy · 18/02/2007 00:46

sue just looked on the meet up thread - wow its long. tbh i havent been to hounslow but lots of friends have. i just love all the other things bocketts have to offer. the fact they are same price makes up my mind for me. lol

Myson - we are a busy lot! Do you know the next evening meet up is Chiswick? Fancy coming? Someones brasserie - Max, Sam?

2nervesleft · 18/02/2007 21:20

Suejonez is Isleworth far away? I decided to go there because it looked close on the map. Thats not the best reason in the world is it?

suejonez · 18/02/2007 22:16

No its not far from Kew - do you have a car or are you replying on public transport - think the 65 bus which goes past Kew gardens goes to Isleworth.

mysonsmummy · 18/02/2007 23:30

the 65 that goes past kew goes over kew bridge and then on to ealing. if you want to go to isleworth you walk over kew bridge and get the 237/267. but if your driving then its 5 minutes from kew.

is it sams brasserie sue??
