It's my ds's 4th birthday on Thursday so am planning to take the day off work & take him & dd (22 mths) out for the day. Thought maybe Gambado.

Has anyone been? Any good? easy to get to/find? I'll be driving from Richmond...

Yes it is great
(you mean the fulham one right?)

It has indoor merry go round thing and tiny bumper cars. The climbing frame is great.

EAsy to find, go north over wandsworth bridge and immediately right down Townmead Road. Past sainbos, when you get to mini roundabout where the main road goes left you carry on as if going to chelsea harbour. It is just htere on your left next to the Jury's Inn hotel thing. Go past it and turn left at next roundabout and then park under imperial wharf

Thanks! That looks like a winner then. Everything else I'd thought of is outdoors [brrr].

We've been and really liked it. We didn't find it easy to get to though. Loads of traffic. And quite hidden imo.

Good fun though, more to do than usual soft play.

I'll make sure I borrow dh's sat-nav thing for the day then. I am one of those shocking London drivers that proper London drivers can't stand - forever fannying around deciding between lanes and ALWAYS driving at the 40mph speed limit in the outside lane...not popular for some reason

decafskinnylatte, i hope you're not going alone. Just that it's quite a big place with lots to do and you are taking 2 kids.

princessmel, i went the time you were there but we never got to chat! We had lots of fun though .. probs the best indoor kids place we've been to.

princessmel · 06/02/2007 13:22

I agree mythumbs.

I did see you that time but yes its not easy to chat when you're trying to keep an eye on 2 or 1 children!!
