It should be c 21-24 C
The actual no of sunshine hours is c 7 so by 4pm
it is time to go inside/do sports /walks etc
A cardie is needed in the evening.
It can be quite windy as well

Agree with Muddle. I would add that the sea is cold and a pool would have to be heated to be bearable , for me anyway.

Went week before Christmas a couple of years ago.
Out of the wind about 21 much, much cooler in the wind.
Sun dipped about 4-30 and got quite chilly then
Was near the airport . Punto del car men rings a bell. It was ok. I prefer los Cristian'os Tenerife

We went a couple of years ago. It was a bit rubbish really. Might as well have been at home.

We go every other year for Christmas. Weather generally bloody lovely. Occasional bit of warm rain but short-lived. Can't beat a bit of winter sun - enjoy!

I went in Decembee a few years ago and needed a blanket around me on the beach by 4pm some days (was only wearing shorts and tee) and wore jeans at night with a proper jacket.

We looked at Lanzarote for Christmas, but decided Tenerife looked warmer.

Last Christmas it was 26 every day and pleasantly warm until 5.30. We're going back this year!
