All summer we had birds and their babes nesting in the eves and dh didnt do anything.Thought wed wait til the`d literally flown the nest.
Now the back and front of the house in full of birds again. It sounds lovely but also quite a pain at 3 am when they start up.More importantly will it be doing my house any harm and if so is there a way to get them out without doing them harm ?
The back bathroom eves would be almost impos. to reach due to the situation of conservatory underneath.
Any advice appreciated.

they don't do any harm I think - they are usually just under the tiles on top of the felt. The only way to stop them would be to put something in the gap where the tiles meet the eves - but I am not sure you can to that in retrospect (we did ours when we replaced our roof last year).
