Family resort for 2017

We've just come back from a week in Cornwall which was a bit of a washout. We've decided that we want to save up and go somewhere hot in Europe next year for a beach holiday. We've got 2 children, DS will be 18 and DD will be 5. Ideally we want somewhere close to the beach with swimming pools and also activities especially for DD. Any recommendations??

Have a think about whether you want a hotel,or a villa or mobile home.
Self catering, half board, full board, all inclusive.
Where you can fly to from local airport or whether you mind travelling to another airport
Budget, including passports, spending money, travel to and from airport etc
Transfer time at the other end.
Any countries ruled out w.g Egypt, turkey
Maximum temperature
Time of year
Then I would go and have a chat with a high st travel agent and see what you like the look of for some ideas. Most European holiday destinations will be hot with a pool.
