Portugal in June. Which resort?

We are thinking of going to Portugal or Costa de Luz in Spain in mid June.

We are a couple with dd who will be one. We like to stay somewhere that has some bars and restaurants that are child friendly but nowhere very busy/rowdy/brits abroad type of place.

Any recommendations?

We are going to Portugal at the end of May, to the Algarve and Im so looking forward to it. DH has done some homework and we think it will suit us really well- THere are bars, a water park and there is a nice shopping town near by. Our villa has its own swimming pool as we would rather have a pool than the sea! DH has gone to bed now but I will try and collar him tomorrow and find out what other things he has found out about the area!

Lagos is a good place to stay. Nice marina, old part of town has little cobbled streets with restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and there are some great beaches.

Wouldn't say it is rowdy at all

They love children and welcome them everywhere, we are going in June with then 9 month DD - can't wait
