My hen weekend in Barcelona !!

Where is the best place to stay? has to be near bars, nightclubs, beach etc.
Has anyone been?

Stay anywhere in the gothic quarter just off The Ramblas. Very central and near all The Tapas bars. The place I stayed was very nice but very basic, only £10 a night though.

It was Hotel Gaudi we stoped in.

Sorry, Hostel Gaudi, not Hotel. There is a hotel Gaudi which looks a lot posher

we hired a big apartment which had 12 beds in, was nice and clean and in the gothic quarter

only worked out at about £60 per person for 3 nights and was great - we liked all being in one place rather then hotel rooms

Then again we did go at Grand Prix weekend and didnt know so couldnt get a hotel anyway!

I would def invest in taking those body belt things for your money to go under your clohtes - the only 2 girls who didnt take them were both mugged.....

a word of warning - i had a 'hen week' many moons ago.. at the end of the week i came home, dumped fiance, packed bags and moved back to holiday place for 4 months of fun with a capital F U [grins wistfully at the (patchy) memories]

best decision i ever made, but your other half has good cause to be afraid!!
