We'd like to see a bit of the country, but have a 2.7 yo and a 10 mos old, so some realistic ideas on where to go, what to do, whre to stay would be much appreciated. We will take our car I think, and will stay about 7-10 days.

Thanks

sorry everyone, am still here lurking and reading.

Cork and Kerry look lovely, but have done some reserch and now think they are perhaps too far for us to drive? We were thinking a few days there, a few days in Galway, then accross to dublin for a few there.

Way to much driving?

Your probably looking at a 4 hour drive at least Cork City (is that where you meant?) to Galway, maybe longer Galway to Dublin. Which ferry crossing are you thinking of using?

Hi, check out this site below. It is a wonderful house, with self catering cottages attached. You can be in the main house or in the SC cottages. One nice plus is the kids can go and meet all the animals on the farm; hens, sheep, ponies, pigs, rabbits, donkeys etc. It is located in Eexford on the East coast, down the morotrway from dublin and close to good beaches etc.
Also if you wish, they will cook and deliver your evening meal for you for an extra charge. Friends of mine stayed there and loved it. I myself have no affiliation whatsoever to it.
