Scottish island cruise?

Has anyone done a boat trip/cruise round islands in Scotland? I am really interested in doing this, ideally on a smallish boat, not hundreds of passengers, and where there was plenty of time ashore to walk and explore, and emphasis on wildlife spotting. Budget definitely under £1000. Would be me and DP, no children.

There are plenty of ads, but a recommendation would be great!

Just to update - I have booked a 3 night trip round Mull in 2018! The company only does that cruise once a year and 2017 was already booked up (8 passengers). I thought DP had agreed to it when I booked but it now appears she misunderstood and thought I was just talking about it. Oh dear.
