Gulf Coast villas in Florida

Hi. Does anyone know if there are gated villa resorts on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Similar to Emerald Island/Windsor Hills etc in Kissimmee ? We are planning to spend our second week there but not sure where to stay. Many thanks.

Not gated but take a look at Anna Maria Island, just beautiful

We have been to the Gulf Coast several times, mainly Cape Coral/Fort Myers area. Not seen any gated communities though. Everywhere we have stayed has been quiet and felt really safe.

Hi, we spent a fantastic week in Naples last October. Villa had a pool but was on normal ungated street. No problems whatsoever. I don't think outwith Orlando there are as many gated communities...
