Can anyone recommend a Gatwick Hotel?
Debbs · 17/05/2002 16:16
I have to book a hotel near Gatwick Airport the night before I fly overseas. There are two women with two three year olds. I have tried quite a few hotels and many of them have child restrictions into restaurants at certain times. Can anyone recommend a Gatwick Hotel that they have been to that is good with kids also?

Debbs, try www.holidayextras.co.uk. They do great deals on airport hotels etc.
May detail on it about restaurants, you could always do room service.

Really impressed by the Meridian and didn't expect to be. We got an inclusive parking/staying deal all in for about 100 quid and ate our picnic there. Room service prob pricey as are restaurants but it is also part of the Gatwick complex so you could you could go to any of the lovely restaurants there. It's a got a swimming pool.
We choose it as we had an early morning flight and did not need to take a bus to get to the airport.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Gatwick Express last year, no restaurant but there are a couple of restaurants just 100yards away, but they do a buffet breakfast and the price included 2 weeks of parking for about £95 I think.
The room had a double bed and a sofa bed and was rather small for the 4 of us if I remember rightly. R
