Where shall we go on holiday?

Family of 5 - 6yo, 4yo, 9mo - so we want something for the older ones to do while the youngest has his afternoon nap. UK or abroad, don't mind, but we don't want to be travelling more than one day each way.

In the summer half-term week, or the second week of the Easter break we're thinking of something self-catering (not camping), and at the end of the summer holidays comes my treat - a hotel .

Hoeseasons have good prices for a variety of different types of accomadation from caravans (not sure if you class this as camping) and luxury log cabins, some on sites with pools and all that. Uk and europe.

Try Tots to France - they do baby and child friendly self catering properties in France and they're most are no more than an hour from an airport.

This one for example looks gorgeous and has two pools (big and small), outdoor trampoline, big outdoor games, few minutes walk into a village etc here
