Hi - I am new to Mumsnet and am a busy mum of 4 under 6. I am about to book a holiday to Mousses in Lefkas and have been following some of these threads with interest. My one big question (which Thomson dont seem able to answer) is ' will the partment be big enough? The children are 5, 4, 3 and 1 (so one in a travel cot). If the answer is no, do I have any alternative?

Many thanks for any help you can give - I need this holiday

Mousses are little houses not apartments - travel cot in your room, 3&4 yr olds in twin room next door and 5 yr old downstairs on put up bed???

Put up bed could fit at a squeeze in double bedroom and travel cot in twin room if you wanted all children upstairs.

The alternative is to book one of the private villas - Pollux or Castor. Master bedroom is HUGE and owners will put in extra put up bed if you ask on arrival. twin accessed next to master bedroom is also HUGE!! Room for extra bed and put cot in master bedroom.

To make it affordable invite a couple (childless friends or parent in laws!!) to use the twin bedroom that is accessed via an outside door. There are also 2 double sofa beds in the HUGE living kitchen area so these villas can easily sleep 8-10 people!!!!

Hope that helps

You will need to upgrade your car too
the one they give you by default is big enough for a family of hobbits (with only one child)

Have just seen your other questions/conversations on another thread.

Speak to Olivia, Nii or Neil (the manager) at Simply Travel - refuse to speak to anyone else!!! Also make sure you are talking to Kingston!!

I'm sure they will book a Mousses house for 2 adults, 3 children and 1 infant but as countessdracula says you will need to upgrade car or arrange a taxi transfer for extra people and luggage. Simon the rep will help with this at the airport.
