Has anybody been to Pula/Istria?

Specifically in the summer - how hot was it? We are considering for next summer but we like the high 20s and I'm a bit concerned it will be nippy! Any other tips or advice gratefully received.

Yes, quite a few years ago, in July. It was definitely hot. We loved it. The sea is amazing and the food, especially fish, very good too.

OK, good to hear - I look it up online and it said the average temperature was 23 degrees.

Evening bump

Certainly not nippy! We were there in summer and it was about 30-32. Feet burning on the shingle beach. Full of stunning looking teenagers. Not a very exciting town. Beautiful clear sea and amazing snorkelling.

I quite like not exciting (we will probably stay in a village in the area, which will be even less exciting). I do like hot, though.
