Flying to Florida in 3 weeks with my DH and DD who will be 15 months old is is generally very active (Doesn't like to sit for more than a minute) We have the bulkhead seats in BA premium Economy and have requested a sky cot incase by some miracle she falls asleep. My parents are also travelling but will be in economy. Any suggestions to keep her occupied much appreciated Hmm Wine Confused Grin

go to the charity shop and buy a dozen or more little toys, dolls books etc. keep them small. wrap in old Christmas wrapping paper. when you get on the plane let your dd open 1 roughly every hour. make it fun trying to guess what it is in the paper, then unwrap and play. at the end of the hour make a big thing of rewrapping and get out the next present. then do the same on the way back and see if she can guess which one it is, which her favourite is etc. sounds like a faff and if you do it she might not need them all but has worked wonders on long journeys with all 3 of mine.

Unless they've changed since I last used one I don't think a 15 month old will fit in a sky cot.

Mummymeister has a good idea there about cheap 'new' toys & books, also the in flight TV films and programs are good, loads to choose from.

Get up for a wander with her when there's no trolley about.

Your sole focus will be keeping her amused - you won't get any rest yourself, - that said it will be fine, and keep thinking of the end goal, a super holiday!

I would also take enough foodstuffs for the flight and do not rely on them to fully provide. Also be very careful if they heat up any milk for her.

Those skycots can be very small so she may well not fit into one. They are primarily designed for babies who weigh no more than 27.5lbs or 12.5kgs.
