I have booked to eat in Auberge deCendrillon as a surprise for my daughter when we visit DLP for the Christmas celebrations. Anyone eaten there and know what it's like and whether it's worth the high price?

We didn't love the food but It's worth it for the character interaction alone, we saw Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella and Prince Charming along with the nice had lots of time to chat and get photos which compared to a minimum of a 2 hr wait at Princess Pavillion. you can also book Princess for the day package and have hair/makeup and photoshoot at the Disneyland hotel. We did this just before the meal and my DD loved it.

We had half board premier vouchers too.

Me and dh thought the food was lovely. Kids not so much... But the character interaction was good and they loved it.

I ate there and enjoyed the food, the soup option for starter was delicious. One of our party had a lot of allergies as well and they were really accommodating.
You are guaranteed to see 3princesses, one Prince and 2mice so it's a great way to meet characters without having to queue for ages and the princesses do a little show as well.

We went on DD's birthday and it was excellent for character interaction. Belle was there when DD got her birthday cake. All of the 3 princesses came and chatted to DD and Arial also had Prince Eric with her. It is worth getting there early, so you're one of the first tables to get in and ask to be seated in the room with the fireplace. They do some dancing in there.

Honestly, you're not there for the food. DD mostly ate bread. We had a nice enough meal, but it isn't what we would have chosen otherwise.

We went for dd's bday , 7 yrs ago so it might have changed since. They were running late so were kept waiting outside for over an hour, the food was nice if to French tastes including the children's menu and by the time we got in the meal felt rushed, dd was too tired to really enjoy the characters and dancing and we needed to leave to see the event fireworks. Didn't feel we got our money's worth tbh.
