There seem to be quite a lot around at the moment. Does anyone have one they can recommend?

this one looks good but pricey, and I've had bad experiences with out of stock items from Bright Minds in the past.

There are others about in Argos and Amazon I know. Are they any good?

omg i used to have one of those bot 10 years ago, it was a bit more basic then that tho.

We have the Argos thingy. It's ok but doesn't seem terribly robust. Was played with a lot last christmas but haven't seen it since! Bop-It extreme was much more fun!

Bopit provides loads of fun, I love it

Thanks.
We have got Bop-it already. Maybe I'll take a raincheck on the Simon thingie.

I was looking for one for ds to improve short term memory - he's dyslexic. Bought a mini keyring one with 4 different coloured lights on yesterday (sequence goes up to 25 lights) - was only £5 (and 3 for 2 in M and S. Will use it as a stocking filler. Bop-It makers do one as well - different from regular Bop-It. Saw them in Tesco yesterday and think they were about £10.

Tgheres a Barbie version -I think its called Barbie Says -similar memory thing where you have to memorise and repeat sequences of lights and you win bits of jewellery (obviously wouldn't be the best present to buy a boy though )

swedishmum, can you link to the one you saw in Tesco? Sounds interesting.

notagrannyyet · 01/12/2006 14:14

We've got the Vtech wizard.I think it's similar to simon. Don't know if you can still buy it.

Can't see it I'm afraid Zog. Could have been this but I don't think so. Will look next time I'm in there.
