What clothes for holiday abroad 4 month old?

What clothes should I take for a 4month old travelling for one week to Gran Canaria? I have some light dresses for fancy outfits but general daytime wear is just a vest ok or should I invest in some shorts and t-shirts?

To be honest I wouldn't put them in any fancy outfits at 4 months, and just a vest would be fine! Clothes on a 4 month old are a faff anyway, and in the heat it will just make them uncomfortable.

Just keep them covered from the sun, and have a lovely holiday.

We took dd on holiday when she was 3 months old. When it was very hot she just had a vest and sunhat.

I would put a few light t shirts in to try and protect his little arms from the sun
