Can anyone recomend a hotel in Donegal?

I have looked at a few the Redcastle looks fab but is booked up in August. Hoping to go first or second week in August. Would need a damily room.

Ah, assumed you meant Co. donegal..... Not just the town?? Might be too far from town!

Loads around that area - Carrickfinn just behind the airport is lovely. There's also one - which helpfully I can't remember the name of - which has a shipwreck on the beach.

Try Buncrana, nice beach, Inishowen Gateway hotel has gym, pool etc, or Lake of Shadows hotel which is in the town, smaller, no facilities to speak of (same owners though, not sure if you get discount/use of Gateway pool).
If you are flying to Derry then Buncrana is about 45 min drive.
