We're looking to stay in Northern France quite near Paris for a week. Self catering 2 beds for 2 adults and 7 year old twins early August. We're not too worried about the location as we want to experience French life rather than scenery etc. Budget is £400 (or less). Ferry already sorted, we're taking a car so not tied to public transport (though would be good to train it into Paris). I've looked online and found some OK looking places but wonder if anyone has any tips, advice or recommendations. Thanks!
