Not sure where to put this but thought here might be okay.
Every time we go to Imperial War Museum (about once a month) we try to walk through the Peace Park & almost every time our visit is ruined by people using it as a dog excercise arena.
Because it is fenced in its possible to let your dog run around off the lead. I don't mind dogs but I feel very nervous of dogs I don't know that are off the lead especially when I have DD (2) with me. DD is quite scared of dogs.
It makes what should be a very peaceful experience, quite nerve wracking. On one occasion when I asked a man to call his 2 large dogs back (he was miles away on his mobile phone) he was very abusive to me.
There is a huge park next to the peace park & I'd like to write to the council to ask them why they can't fence an area of this off as a dog run instead.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so would you be interested in doing a joint letter?
