Day out in Worcester / Worcestershire

Hi. We are planning a day out for adults in the next few weeks. The fine-weather plan is Witley Court. Has anybody got a good wet-weather alternative around there(ish, we have a car so we are totally mobile).

Worcester is a very nice city, the cathedral is well worth a visit, the river area is attractive and there are lots of interesting shops and nice places to eat in the older party of the city.

I rather like Avonscroft museum in the rain - not that it is all undercover, but you can move from one building to another quickly with an umbrella.

Or the County museum at Hartlebury has lots to see.

Slightly further away, I've had a great, very wet, day at the Black Country museum.

Witley court is lovely in good weather. The fountain is truly amazing.
