(is that a song.....?!) Anyway, going to NYC a week before Xmas - have been twice before and done the usual (ferry, empire state, central park + zoo + skating etc.). But wondered if there is anything special we must see/go to/do around Xmas? Thanks!

Skating at the Rockerfeller Centre is always good for a laugh !!!
Well it is if you're me and and not exactly proficient at skating I clung desperatley to a passing 6 year old who zoomed past and helped me to the side !!!!

Go to a performance of New York City Ballet's Nutcracker at the Lincoln Center - it is lovely.

I take it you mean a big one not one that actually has "F off" on it?

I went in april and it was baltic, day we went to statue of liberty it snowed.

Broadway show,
boat that takes you round the entire island of Manhatten, helicopter trip,
huge bagel/ hot dog from a street seller,
going up one of the towers (e.g. empire state) and staying there until it gets dark,
baseball/ basket ball game,
visit harlem gospel church.
