Dublin - suggestions for food/drinks

Anyone able to suggest nice places to eat or go for drinks in Dublin. It's for a hen party but hopefully not a tacky affair! So looking nice, with relatively upmarket preferably with a setenu? Thanks

I love Fallon and Byrne, they have a pre theater menu until 6 if that works for you.

The Cafe en Seine is a nice venue for drinks.

MsVanRein · 02/05/2015 17:41

Oh thank you will have a look at those Flavia!

Allalone thanks someone had mentioned cafe en seine and it looks nice from their website - definitely one to keep in mind.

I've heard good things about Koh, good cocktails, a set menu/early bird and even a package for hen parties including cocktail making session.

I also like the market bar for nice tapas and it usually has a good atmosphere, although very loud due to high ceilings.

MsVanRein · 02/05/2015 18:21

Thanks School will have a look at both. Think we will have early-ish meal and then on for drinks so an early-bird menu might work well.

Always a nice friendly crowd in C en S, good atmosphere.

MsVanRein · 05/05/2015 19:47

Allalone that's good to hear - looking at maybe booking table service or some kind of package.

Anyone any experience of Lillies Bordello?

Yes , fab cocktails , the odd sleb but haven't been for a couple of years .
Don't forget abrakebabra Grin

Allthelittlefoxes · 05/05/2015 19:50

Lilies bordello was fantastic when I went there 10 years ago (Shane Lynch tripped over me and was very lovely and apologetic!) not sure what it's like now....

RyanAirVeteran · 05/05/2015 19:51

Abrakebabra with garlic sauce, the moment when a single guy accepts the night is over and he is not going to pull. Grin Grin

Grin I ran through the Fitzwilliam entrance to my room with an Abrekebabra post Stone Roses gig . Think I got away with not lowering the tone.

MsVanRein · 05/05/2015 21:54

Oh that's good thought it looked nice on the website!

Will put abrakebabra on the list for the end of the night then Grin
