Mark Warner Holidays - worth it?

DCs are 3y/o and 1y/o, DH and I would like to find a way for to have a holiday which we can all enjoy this year. Our usual style is self-catering villa with our own car, and lots of independent travel and eating out, but with two small kids in tow self-catering can feel like just as much 'work' as staying at home, but in a new location!

We are considering booking a budget-busting Mark Warner holiday so we have facilities on-site, some kids clubs and evening childcare, and DH and I might get a little bit of time to ourselves every day. We are looking at early June or mid-September (out of school hols).

For those who've done it, is it worth the money? Is the service seamless and the adult food good? Is everything really included? I am tempted but don't want to go for it only to find it's not quite the experience we'd imagined...

we tried it skiing and food was dire, other guests a bit dire, and the kids cried at kids club, then got chicken pox, whole thing total waste of money!! for summer/autumn our choice is caserio del mirador, spain , where you get fantastic meals but also have a kitchen for snacks and it gets cleaned for you.. there are other places in france that are similar but weather not as good..

I have been to the resort in Turkey and we loved it. The food was lovely and we made friends with some other families. The childcare is good and they take them sailing and in the kids pool.

I would love to go again!

Not done mark Warner but neilsons are similar and we have had fantastic holidays with them.

I thought they were for oldies!

YES!! They are TOTALLY worth it, especially with small children, tired parents and during term time. Was the best holiday because we ALL came home feeling like we had actually had a holiday. Only other thing that has one close was a cruise...
