Off to Munich in the morning and as weather forecast is woefully bad, I can see us spending a good bit of time in the hotel pool with our three little boys. Packing case now and wondered anyone know whether swimming caps are required as a rule in Germany?

Thanks v much in advance!

Thank you both, and thank flip for that! They're obsessed with them where we live now and I'm fed fed fed up of looking like a Smurf when swimming!

Not sure about Munich but they were in East Germany, where we lived for a few years. We just wore the stretchy nylon ones because it was to keep stray hairs from clogging up the filter system so cloth ones worked fine and were more comfortable.
