Pretty coastal villages in Normandy?

We are going to Normandy in August with our 5, 7 and 9 year old and are looking for a nice village to stay in with a nice beach and a few restaurants. Maybe a nice little port... We don't want too big towns (we know Honfleur and Deauville and the likes are lovely but are looking for something smaller, more low key). Any suggestions??

Hi Nena, probably too late to be useful but I would really recommend the town of Houlgate - it fits the description you've given above about being more low key than Honfleur etc, but still big enough to have a choice of restaurants/shops, and has a lovely beach.

St Aubin sur Mer is a lovely little village with a lovely beach. Lots of things to do along that stretch of coast.

St Aubin sur Mer is lovely. We had a wonderful holiday there last year.
