where in Northern France after Disney Paris?

we've booked three nights at Disney Paris for May half-term. We're driving from the NW, and we're planning a night or two in Kent (where I'm from originally) on the way. We'd like to do spend a night or two in France after DLP - ideally somewhere en route to Calais. Doesn't have to be anything amazing, but I'd like to buy wine and cheese the DC to get a taste of France as well as doing the Disney thing. Can anyone recommend a nice town to spend a day or two in?

Chantilly?

Versailles? Fontainebleau?

Not en route but not far... A day at Versailles even in the grounds is fun and also Fontainebleau, lovely town.

And why not Paris... On a Sunday, it's fairly easy to drive into Paris, park near the Eifel tower, take a trip up the Seine. Point out the highlights along the way.

Thanks for the suggestions - I'll have a read up on them this evening

We've decided against Paris. I've been lots of times, but DH hasn't, and he wants to save it for his fortieth when we're planning a child-free, art and wine based trip Smile.

Chantilly is lovely, we spent a few days there in October. But it may be a little bit too near DLP to make sense? Further up the route to Calais is Arras which we visited when the kids were little. The Holiday Inn there is very reasonable - someone mentioned it on another recent thread.

I think Lille. Youre about an 1.5 hours from Paris
