Can anyone recommend good places to stay with two under sixes? Thinking that s-c might be best, or apart hotel. Can't break the bank. Looking for somewhere in CT and somewhere else perhaps out in the winelands or maybe part way up garden route (but no more than 3hrs from CT). Thanks in advance.

Camps Bay in CT is great - lovely beach for the kids. I'm not sure I'd want to stay in the V&A area with young kids, but maybe it's changed from when I was last there.

I really liked Franschoek in the wine lands. We stayed self-catering in La Petit Ferme, it was lovely. A great restaurant there too.

Enjoy your trip; it's a great place.

Thanks. Where did you stay in Camps Bay? SC or hotels.

We were thinking camps Bay or bantry bay (have been before but pre kids).

We rented a lovely little cottage up Kloof Nek Road last time we went, very handy for town. Have previously stayed in a SC flat in Llandudno which had better beach access.

Waterfront Village in CT.

The Ivy in Franschhoek.

Whale Coast Hotel in Hermanus.

We stayed in a villa called sunset on the rocks in LLandudno you can book through accommodation direct.com. It had great views and had all we needed at a very reasonable price. LLandudno was a great base and felt very safe there.
