Can anyone recommend a good family AI on one of the smaller Greek Islands?
Nothing huge but plenty of things For DCs to do and decent food.
Preferably flying from Stansted. Thanks

Not many AIs on the Greek Islands thank god!

Just google it, you might find something.

Oh, by the way, Greece always has decent food! :-) in the local establishments.

If you must...

Google Florence Hotel, Tsilivi, Zakynthos

AnyFucker · 18/02/2015 21:24

auto correct !!!!

The hotel is called Filoxenia

Effnjeff · 19/02/2015 10:36

Reasoning behind AI is that I've has my fill of SC.... Paying extortionate amounts for restaurants....daily shopping for food/washing up etc etc....
Just want to be able to have a proper break Grin

Aren't the Greek govt getting rid of AI?

If you want to do it, do it quick!

Neilson go to Greece, we went last year, almost all meals included (bar 3 evening meals per week, so you can go to local restaurants), but you do pay separately for drinks.
Loads to do for everyone, all included.
We had an amazing time and the food was delicious.

Effnjeff · 19/02/2015 10:49

Where did you stay Lizzylou?

The Greek mainland, Sivota. Was such a beautiful place. We went on trips to Paxos/Anti Paxos and also further up the coast to Parga.

You might be best at the Filoxenia Grin

monkeyfacegrace · 19/02/2015 15:43

We liked Lindos Princess in Rhodes. Cheap, only cost us £2k for a week for family of 3, but was clean, fab pools, plenty for kids to do.

Lizzylou · 19/02/2015 15:56

Blimey! We paid less for school holidays. We booked v early though.
Sorry!

Hersetta427 · 20/02/2015 11:59

Have a look at first choice as they only sell all inclusive holidays now. We have been to the holiday village in Kos which was very good and has great kids facilities (swimming and football coaching, activity ropes), kids clubs and kids entertainment.

There are few on the smaller Greek Islands, more on the bigger ones. We've been to the Atlantica Aegean Blue in Rhodes ( good but big ) and are off to one in Corfu this summer.

We use AI for the organised sports for the DC which they are mad for, and as we got a free child place, fully plan to eat out about half the time, as I find it too Groundhog Day and could be anywhere otherwise. We will prob hire a car for a few days for added freedom.

Heels99 · 21/02/2015 11:43

Sensatori Crete, have not stayed there myself though.

Heels99 · 21/02/2015 11:43

First choice holiday village Rhodes always gets good reviews

Thomson Blue Lagoon Village in Kos is absolutely lovely. Attached waterpark, ice cream parlour, massive pools.

Kos airport is tiny and horrid though.
