Dubai airport for 8 hours

I will have an 8 hour stopover in Dubai at the end of the year, unfortunately this will be from around midnight.
Does anyone know if there will be anything open at this time (guessing the pool would be closed) or anything to do really? I had a look at website but couldn't find a lot of info.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Shops etc will all be open. The facilities vary by terminal so you need to check what terminal you will be in and whether you would have access to the other terminals. The is a good terminal map online. Eg there is a play ar in one terminal, but not the one we were in and we were in transit so didn't have access to the other terminal.

There is a Marhaba Lounge at the airport where you can get a comfortable chair, food and drink. It isn't the cheapest but might be worth it.

Thanks for the info, reassuring to hear that places will be open. As long as I can have a wander around shops and keep myself busy that will be good.

we book into the hotel airport if we have a longish stopover - lovely comfy beds, huge bathrooms, quiet and relaxing. Well worth the cost.
