Disneyland Paris - day trip?

We're off to Paris this summer for 4 nights as part of our holiday; in that time DS15 & DD17 are keen to visit DLP for the first time.
Is a day/evening enough time (bearing in mind it's August!!)
Do we need to avoid the Disney bit and head for the Studios park? Really clueless as none of us have done Disney before!

It will be mobbed. you will spend a lot of your time queueing. if there are one or two specific rides they want to go on and you are prepared to get there as the gates open and leave at closing time then its worth it. if not it is a lot of money for 6 or 7 rides which is all you will probably have time for.

I don't think so, it will be heaving and with an hour or more queue for each ride plus seeing other things it would be pointless. You're probably want two days
