Two night UK break somewhere very romantic - ideas please?

Hi, I got married at the weekend and am looking for ideas for a very romantic two night UK break somewhere not far from London. We are both feeling super tired so just want to stay in a lovely hotel with nice grounds-we dont want to see or do anything much, just enjoy a lovely hotel, some nice meals, maybe have a pamper and not have to drive far from London. I dont want to go to Champneys as I hated it! Thank you!

Try Ravenwood Hall Hotel (www.ravenwoodhall.co.uk/). It may be a bit further than you wanted to drive, being close to Bury St Edmunds, but is a lovely friendly hotel where you can turn up in heals or muddy walking boots and be made to feel just as welcome. Good food too. Romantic individual rooms, either in the main hotel or try one of the mews rooms if you want your own door to the gardens.

Bath has a number of really top end hotels. there is also the open air spa swimming pool and massage place plus afternoon tea at the pump house.

Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons, Great Milton, Oxfordshire. You could not possibly want for more. Barnsley House, Gloucestershire or Lime Wood, Hampshire spring to mind too.
