Lake Garda - Parc Germano or other self catering complexes?

Have provisionally booked a suite here for a week in July on the basis we'll have some space and hopefully our 7 year old DD will find some playmates. However, there are mixed reviews on Tripadvisor so wondering if anyone here has been or whether they can recommend anything else in the same ball park? Thanks!

Haven't been to that one but did go to Parc Paradiso a couple of years ago and it was lovely, loads to do etc. It is a bit far out although when we were there they had a free shuttle bus several times a day in and out of Peschiera.
What is putting you off Germano?

Was put off Germano by the cost. Found a booking for a one bed apartment complete with sofa bed in the lounge, but it would only let me book for 2 adults although it described occupancy as more. When I emailed the hotel, they said I could still have it but would have to pay 1000euros just for the pleasure of having one little person with me using the same space!!!

That's ridiculous. There's loads of self catering residences still available on Booking.com, I've just recently booked us into a nice wee hotel in Peschiera.
Hope you find something.
