Best place for a short honeymoon?

We are getting Married in September and were originally hoping to have a week in Santorini at the end of September but due to issues with DC I don't think we're going to be able to get away for more than 4-5 days.

Can anyone recommend anywhere good for a short break? We were really hoping for just a lazy romantic week somewhere hot being lazy with lots of nice meals/drinks out.

Santorini is out as they only fly on a Tue/Sat and it's a bit far for 3-4 days.

How about South of France.. Villefranche is lovely.. Flights to Nice are plentiful and not expensive

Malaga? Beachy places there, but a bit of culture in the city itself?

Barcelona? Same again -stay by the beach either in Barceloneta or a little way along the coast?

The Ile de Re is lovely... Fly to La Rochelle... And recently went to Mykonos in September - went for 4 days and it was perfect! The weather was beautiful, the sunsets divine...

Thanks will have a look now, we've been to Barcelona but did say we'd love to go back without the kids.
