Well theme park in the loosest possible sense - they have some shops and some exhibition type things (dr who experience was there last time I was there). It's all a bit cheap and rubbish. But the walk around the coastline is very lovely.

We went to an Iron Age village called chysauster this year. Highly recommended, the views are amazing and our children loves running in and out of the 'rooms'.

Yep CHysauster is nice as is Cape Cornwall and St Just. It's not that far from St Ives really. And there is the open air theatre just along the coast.

Polzeath is the surfing town on the North Coast. Loads to do and great places to stay. There is also a surf school at Watergate Bay. No shops and Newquay is awful, but very popular.
