Where to go in Italy with DD?

I am planning to visit Italy in the Easter holidays with DD, but I've never been before and despite lots of googling I still can't decide where to go. Can anyone recommend somewhere? I would like to be on the coast, within walking distance of a nice beach, and somewhere with a swimming pool. Budget is around £800 for the two of us, but I'd be willing to stretch to £1k for the perfect place. Please help! TIA

Easter is warm, but not necessarily swimming weather. for example the average daily high in Sorrento in April is only 18 degrees.

Swimming pools will be freezing that time of year too!

How old is DD?

Agree it will.most likely be too cold. Sicily will.be marginally warmer.

Sardinia? We went in late Sept and weather was still pleasant enough for swimsuits on beach (but chilly fir swimming). We flew to olbia, hired a car and stayed here
