February trip away - hotels in Lille?

DH's 50th in February - lucky old thing. We wondered about Lille for a family trip (ds is 10). I'd like somewhere central but attractive to stay, seems to be one or the other, have you stayed anywhere nice? I can't run to vast budget but £100 a night or so would be doable. Or should I save my money for the restaurants?

It could be very cold in Feb. Have you thought about that?

Sorry. I don't have reccomendations for hotels, but if you book together with your Eurostar tickets, you can get good offers sometimes.
