May half term- Spain, Portugal, France or Italy? Help me please!

My parents are doing a bit of 'European tour' by car next year (2015), and have suggested we meet them in half term for the week. This sounds good! We've all holidayed today in the past, and get on well.

However, we have one DS who will be 5 at the time. He is getting to the age where he craves other children's company, and so we want to stay somewhere that will either have a lot of other children, or a kids club or lots of things for him to do. The simple adage applies: if he's happy, we're all happy!

My parents are happy to tailor their trip to accommodate us, so really we have the pick of where we'd like to go.

Things I have so far considered: La Manga Club, and donkey trekking in Spain, canal boating in France!

Any suggestions- happy with self-catering, or with a hotel. However, camping/mobile homes probably not my parents style.

Help me (please)!!

That place looks really great! Even if we don't go with my folks- this looks like a type of place we could quite happily go and while away a few days!
