Going to Croatia with 9 month old

We fly to Croatia tomorrow with a typically active 9 month old! We're going with Ryanair from Stansted, and staying in a self catered place near Pula. I'm starting to get nervous now, as it looks like we're moving house (all the gear and no idea etc) and my daughter is allergic to dairy.
I would welcome any tips regarding taking a baby of roughly this age on a plane, to an airport (!), shopping for food/baby food in Croatia, breastfeeding in public there...I've suddenly started to worry about everything!!! Ha ha!
Thanks so much

Hi - just seen your post. How did you get on? We go next week with an 8 month old and I'm wondering the same things - especially breastfeeding in public and how you managed with food / water etc? Thanks !

Hi there, the flight was absolutely fine...poor thing was exhausted but got endless attention from other people on the flight so kept happy. We found a LIDL - not a fan of our local one in UK and similar here. There's loads of large supermarkets outside of the towns though, and they've got pampers etc. Haven't found baby food yet though, and making baby purée this morning did take the edge off that first day of holiday feel Smile I packed some from the UK though for dinners - not sure if your LO is weaned and eating purée, but if so I'd pack a few stashes of purée pouches. People here are lovely. I think we have the pants weather this week tho, and then it clears up in a week or so, so fingers crossed it'll be beautiful weather for you.

Oh and I breastfed on a bench in town today without any strange glances. My LO is 9 months, so I've honestly even had a couple of comments in the UK about 'wow, you're still feeding?' etc!!

Hope you get on really well. It really is lovely, and though very different to pre-baby holidays, I'm glad we came out here Smile
