Emirates airlines are so baby friendly

Just back from holidays with DH and our 10mo son. Wanted to let anyone know who is thinking of flying with a baby that Emirates are amazing. We were fast tracked wherever possible, bulkhead seats with bassinets on all four of our flights, the staff were really lovely and we were even given bags with nappy / feeding supplies and toys. I've heard horror stories recently about other carriers so just wanted to share our good experience Smile

Emirates were pretty awful to me when I travelled with my baby twins. I think it depends on the staff you get on the day. The flight attendant on my flight made it pretty clear he hated kids and made a lot of bitchy comments. He then he turfed me off the plane at Dhubai with no assistance whatsoever. When I asked for help getting one of the free buggies at Dhubai no one would help me.

I would say they are ok. I like the kids meals and presents the kids got. Also that you can book a seat in advance but the attitude of the flight attendants varies. Some are kind, some are rude.

I have travelled with Emirates long haul three separate times now. I choose them more for the convenience of the flight path. I heard KLM are more baby-friendly. It would be great if they built a playground at the airport in Dhubai for the kids to let off steam a bit.

I just generally keep my head down and don't expect too much in the way of assistance from the flight attendants and we are ok.

Oh no, that sounds rubbish. So much for the fantasy that there was an airline out there that wasn't a disappointment Hmm
