Eurocamp holiday during the World Cup

We are due to be staying in a mobile home in France (Eurocamp holiday) in a few weeks and realised it will be at the same time as the World Cup.

DH is very keen to watch it and I'm hoping there may be a tv screen at the site that might be showing it (rather than him staying out all night at nearby bars to watch it!) Does anyone know if this would be likely? Or is it worth investing in a small portable TV instead? I'm guessing the Wifi signal is unlikely to be upto much so not sure if he'll be able to watch online...

It is likely. We were in France at a Siblu site during the last world cup and the matches were on in the bar.

We have done this a couple of times and the sites always had big screen tvs. Maybe worth checking the Eurocamp or campsite website.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like there is a TV at the bar area so hopefully they should be showing the matches (including the late night England ones...)

We were in Holland during the Champion league final (?) between Man U and Barcelona a few years ago. There was a great atmosphere there.

Phew, message today from Eurocamp confirming they will be showing the matches on site! Now just wondering if I'll see any of DH in the evenings...
